Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for World Traveler’s
Valentine’s Day has always been a fun holiday for me. I always loved putting little goody bags together for my friends at school and decorating everything in pink, red and hearts. I enjoy a day when I can let loved ones around me know how much they are cared for. And hello, it’s an excuse to eat chocolate. Lots and lots of chocolate.
A few years ago, I ended up buying a homeless man in Chicago a Valentine’s Day meal. From then on, I have always tried to do a caring deed for a stranger on February 14th. It warms the heart knowing you have helped someone in need.
I have put together a list of items that are great Valentines Day gifts for a world traveler.
Sometimes a card with a hand written meaningful message means just as much, if not more than a gift. I love any travel themed cards like this Mon Amour Valentine Card by Papyrus.
Beats by Dr. Dre (Beats)
Travel Size Cologne and Perfume Rollerballs
Perfume and Cologne are pretty stereotypical gifts to give to your significant other. Why not give them in a travel size that fits into a quart sized bag? One of my favorites is the Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue Rollerball.
Primitives By Kathy State Silhouette Wooden Box Sign
These wooden box signs come with a sticky heart “so that you can mark your hometown, the place you met your love, or any other place that is significant to you.”
Portable iPhone Charger (or battery charger)
I find my phone battery to be dying at very inconvenient times. This Sonix Fancy Heart Portable iPhone Charger would be extremely handy in times of need. The hearts give it a fun Valentine’s Day feel.
Red Longchamp Luggage
One thing a frequent traveler always needs: reliable luggage. This Longchamp hard shell suitcase is durable, lightweight and easy to spot.
XpresSpa Gift Cards
Traveling can often be very stressful. Give a gift card to help treat the one you love to a massage, nail care or wax found in many airports throughout the country. It may even be a good idea to treat yourself!
